Nadaun. The cycling rally of Sashastra Seema Bal personnel has left for Delhi due to the programs of Amrit Mahotsav running across the country. On reaching Nadaun on Sunday, Nagar Panchayat President Tarun Kapil and Vice President Yograj gave a grand welcome to this rally. This team of 17 jawans of Sashastra Seema Bal, a centralized training center located in Jwalamukhi’s Sapri, left for Delhi on Sunday morning under the leadership of cyclist and Commanding Officer Anil Nehra. On reaching Nadaun, Anil Nehra, Deputy Commandant Yogendra Singh and other officers and soldiers paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Inderpal, a great revolutionary and companion of Bhagat Singh, near the bus stand. During this, the area resonated with the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
Officer Anil Nehra said that he will cycle 550 km till Delhi in the upcoming journey and will reach Rajghat on October 2 at the conclusion of the cycle yatra of armed forces personnel from across the country reaching here. He said that during the yatra, meeting the people along the way, he would give the message of joining the Amrit Mahotsav of independence unitedly with new thinking and new zeal. On the way, tributes will be paid to the great revolutionaries and those who made supreme sacrifices for the country. At the same time, people will be made aware to connect them with the Fit India campaign. The rally will conclude at Raj Ghat after paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
